- 1. Who is the target audience?
- 2. What goals do you want to accomplish?
- 3. What behaviors would you like to change or encourage?

2. Respond to #1 on our class blog which can be found at bhscareermanagement.blogspot.com using the career research and interest inventory information we completed the first week of school. Think of this as a professional reflection of your interests and career cluster choice. Think…..where do you see yourself in the future and how your interests relate to the career cluster you landed in. Pretend you are having a conversation with a potential employer in your chosen career field. Tell them why you want to pursue that type of a career. What surprises did you encounter as you researched that career (education? Salary? Job details? Etc?) Talk about your strengths and what you can bring to the job. Why are your personality and interests best suited for this type of career? Keep it conversational but professional. Try to incorporate vocabulary we have been using in class (emotional intelligence, career, career cluster, social awareness, etc.)
Type up your response in a Google doc or Word doc and email it to ms.patterson.bhs@gmail.com . Please include your name so I know who it is from.
3. If you don’t have your career research or didn’t take the Interest Inventory with the class you can do that now. Go to the ‘Start’ Window on your computer….Click on ‘computer’……..click on the ‘shared folder’………..click on “Public”………..scroll down until you find “Patterson – Career Management”………choose the folder entitled “Interest Inventory and Career Cluster Research”………here is the link for the interest inventory http://eao.arizona.edu/sites/eao.arizona.edu/files/Career%20inventory.pdf …….upon completing the interest inventory, choose an occupation from the Career Cluster you were placed in……print out the Career Cluster Research page and answer those questions……after completing the Career Cluster Research, go back to #2 on this checklist and complete your 250 word essay.
